My name is Rita Weber, and in the spring of 2001, my life took a
dramatic shift in its direction. I received a call from God to return to
school — to seminary, no less — to prepare for a ministry. Now, that in
itself is pretty remarkable for anyone who experiences it, but for me it
was miraculous. At age 49 and legally blind for more than 20 years, I
couldn’t drive a car, I couldn’t read print materials. How could this
be, I wondered. It occurred to me that I might have been mistaken about
what I had believed was a call. As I struggled to make sense of it all,
I was given inspiration for several sacred songs — new songs that had
never existed before — about every six weeks or so. I began to share
them with my friends and family and recorded them for others to hear.
Gradually, the Lord Jesus has revealed what I need to know, as I need to
know it. This faith journey has totally transformed my thinking, my
understanding of the Bible, and my relationship with Jesus Christ. He
has been teaching me about living according to His guidance, clearly
given in the Bible. And that is what I am intended to share with others
in my role as a motivational speaker and singer.

foundation of the principles revealed in Holy Scripture, made relevant
for life in the 21st century.
