The challenges for a person losing the gift of sight may seem immobilizing for some. Rita Weber, urged forward by her strong faith in Jesus Christ, has used her loss of vision as an impetus to discover her potential. Her careers have included nursing, social work, and mental health counseling. A Master of Divinity graduate, she sees her role as one of encouraging others who want to discover the secret of overcoming the struggles life can bring.

Blind Trust, Inc. was founded in 2004. It is the home of SoulFocus Ministries, which provides a variety of presentations, workshops, and evangelical outreach for people of various ages, denominations, and walks of life.

Rita lives with her husband in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The couple has three grown children, three grandsons, and five grandpuppies.
